Gold Coast Theme Parks
The Gold Coast is home to some of Australia's best theme parks. The consistently warm climate makes it a desirable location for a day out at any of the theme parks, in particular, Wet n Wild Water World.
Dreamworld
One of the Gold Coast's best theme parks is none other than Dreamworld. Home to various rides to satisfy the thrill seekers, including five roller coasters. The park contains over 40 rides and attractions in total.
WhiteWater World
WhiteWater World features ten Australian beach culture themed attractions and is connected to Dreamworld. There's a large wave pool, many slides aimed at speed and even a surf school.
Dreamworld is split up into several themed islands, each containing appropriately themed rides, shows and animal exhibits.
Paradise Country
For a true Australian outback experience, bring the family to Paradise Country. There are various animal shows such as sheep shearing, stock horses and sheepdog shows. Feed the animals including chickens, kangaroos and more. Enjoy an Aussie BBQ lunch or some billy tea and damper
Sea World
Sea World is home to some amazing aquatic wildlife including dolphins, seals, polar bears and sharks. Sea World offers rides, attractions and shows. Perhaps the most impressive is the dolphin show called Affinity, you don't want to miss it!
Wet n Wild Water World
Cool off at Wet n Wild Water World, relax at Calypso Beach or the massive wave pool. For the kids, there's Buccaneer Bay. There's plenty of options for the thrill seekers, in particular, the AquaLoop which is a looping body slide featuring a trap door release system, it's possible to reach up to 60 km per hour!
